Our Company

Our s.p.a., which covers a total area of 22,000 square meters, is located in the heart of the S.Ambrogio industrial zone, just a few kilometers from the Affi and Verona Nord highway exits.

Terminale Ferroviario Valpolicella s.p.a., which was established in the early 1990s by the intuition of local operators, is still one of the very few private companies operating a rail terminal in Italy. By the end of the 20th century, logistical needs were being felt related to the transportation of marble and granite blocks from Italian and northern European ports to processing companies in the area.

Consolidated service

Today we offer a service that has been established for years, made possible by the collaboration between our facility, the Port of Carrara, the Port of Venice, and northern European shippers. Our offer enables the transfer of goods by rail, decongesting the affected roads and highways.

We propose a concrete solution to the necessary attention to ecological issues related to the transfer of goods.

State-of-the-art tools

In recent years our services have been diversified and implemented with commodities related to the steel industry, especially wire rod, steel pipes, steel rounds.
Terminal Ferroviario Valpolicella has machinery capable of handling slabs and billets and is equipped to unload lumber and pulp. It is equipped with forklifts with a capacity exceeding 40 tons and exceptional transport vehicles for deliveries to customer sites.

We specialize in unloading and reloading containers containing marble and granite blocks and semi-finished products.
